I am in the process of sorting out my original wiring loom/harness on my A10. I have everything sorted however I am unsure of where the harness was located/routed . Same goes for the dip/horn /cutout switch which is all in one switch. Can anyone post some pictures of how all the wire harness were routed.
i.e. headlamp harness, switch cable on left of handlebar. Left or right of frame etc. etc. ???
Thanks
On my 1961 A10, the harness routing is fairly straightforward and conventional running down the RHS of the top tube under the tank from the headlight to beneath the saddle. The harness from the Tricon switch is clipped to the underneath of the handlebar and then runs under the top fork yoke into the headlight shell. I think the only difference with your S/R is that you have a separate headlight rather than the nacelle on mine so your switch harness has to go through the back of the shell alongside the main harness. I can't remember precisely how the harness is routed under the seat without taking it off to see but I don't remember it being too much of a challenge?
Many Thanks
