Title: Alpha Bearings
Post by: SteveF on 01 Nov, 2022, 09:49
Hi All.  Have Alpha Bearings ceased trading ?  Looking for roller conversion big end and timing side for a 1963 C15.

Just give them a ring or email them to find out if they are still going:

Died comparatively young... good that the firm is still going!

Just to clarify the situation in regard to Alpha Bearings. Although the original owner, Max Nightingale died suddenly in June 2018, the company has been owned by Chris Williams since 2010 although Max continued to run it on a day-to-day basis. Chris Williams also owns Autocycle Engineering which is based at the same address and provides a wide range of motorcycle spares. Both companies continue to operate in this way and have not been taken over by any other company!

Apologies. I can't think why I thought it was Villiers services.

I simply phoned up Chris Williams to ask him what the situation was with Alpha Bearings. Had a really interesting conversation with him and also found out quite a bit about Villiers Services who are based only a stone's throw away in Brierley Hill.
