Title: BSA tank
Post by: GAMBOLE1 on 30 Oct, 2022, 11:33
Hope this is not a daft question but can anyone tell me if this tank with teardrop badge is original for a 1960 twin.

It looks like an A10 tank, so yes.

Maybe not original BSA.

Or maybe the badge recess has been repaired?

This is what the badge recess looks like in a genuine A10 tank.

Thanks for the replies guys but being the idiot i am managed to put the wrong photo up. We have a 1959 Shooting star with black round tank badges, and wondered if 1960 changed to teardrop shape. This one is coming up for auction and thinking of having a go for it.

Failed to add that we have a 1960 in need of restoration and needs new tank so is this the one for the job ?
