Title: C15 rear suspension mounts
Post by: Gavin on 11 Aug, 2022, 12:01
does anyone know if its possible to buy replica rear suspension mounts, or if anyone has tooling to make a pair, for a 1965 C15 WD frame?

any steers in the right direction gratefully recieved.

Pattern rear shock absorbers are readily available for the C15 but I am not sure what a 1965 C15 WD frame is? The only WD frame I know from that period is for the B40WD and that takes fairly standard rear shocks?

thanks for the reply but its not the suspension i am after, its the actual mounts for the suspension from the top of the frame. it would be easy enough to get some flat ones made up but the originals are shaped.

if they were welded to the frame then thats how they left the factory, they would not be available to buy seperately,
Ive a B40 frame the bottom tank supports were removed by a previous owner, no other thing to do but look for a plan, (there is one for the B40), and take measurements and get them made yourself

To be clear, it is the brackets shown in the attached you are after? If you can wait until tomorrow, I'll measure up a set of brackets and let you have the details.
