Title: C15 Chain Guard
Post by: Dave H_C15 on 21 Jul, 2022, 10:37
Does the chain guard on a C15 have a recess on the back of it?

I have a 1962 C15 SS80 which i purchased a new replica chain guard for. The chain guard fits well and has a flush back but the Tyre rubs against the guard.
I've noticed looking at photo's  that some guards have a recess of the back and some do't so i'm a bit unsure if i have the correct one for my bike.

As far as I am aware, the SS80 used the same chainguard as a standard C15 as shown with indented RHS to provide clearance for the tyre.
