Title: Electrical connectors

What style of electrical connectors were in use during the 1930s? I'm guessing soldered brass bullets and rubber insulated sockets.

Thanks, David

There were generally no "connectors" as we know them now.. The wires from the headlamp bulb went straight to the dip switch and the to the light switch. Split type connectors with the wire wrapped over at the bulb end and screw connection ar the switches. The rear light used a screw on connection with a wrap over joint, direct to the switch. The horn was also screw type.
Twp brush dynamo and regulator used split connectors, Three brush dynamo were screw type.
The wires would have all been black but with coloured bands for identification.
Having said all that, I cheat and use the Lucas (or Ripault) type connectors sometimes for ease of maintenance.
