Title: Rear wheel bearings
Post by: yorke on 30 May, 2022, 15:54
Just about to fit new rear wheel bearings to my 1964 C15. As these bearings are sealed is there any need to pack the hub with grease?

Absolutely no purpose to be achieved in packing the hub with grease although I would grease the wheel spindle if only to give it a bit of protection from going rusty.

Hi,
Spray the area with chain lub for protection, it adheres better than grease and gets into the places which are hard to reach.

Best wishes...
