Title: A65 8" flanged full width hub
Post by: Milemuncher on 11 Apr, 2022, 09:00
Wanted: A65 8" flanged full width hub.

Does anyone have one in a reasonably condition lying around either in a wheel or on it's own that they'd like to sell?

Thanks Mike, but I'll stick with the 8". Why did you paint it white?

I may have to consider a 8" SLS brake plate if I can't get a hub. The TLS shoes have just  started to wear the spoke ends.....

Its the front wheel from my A50 Trike where all the wheels are white. I have just replaced the complete front end with the front end from a yamaha Virago 535. Cos my Trike needs an MOT and it goes through the car system. Regretfully dear old Beesa front brake is not up to it.
It passed its first MOT with about 1% to spare----Thats fine for a paper exercise but not with my backside on the seat. Cos of course with a trike you dont have the option of nippimg up alongside for the last unstoppable couple of feet. So drastic and not exactly inexpensive modification.

I think by the time the mod is finished, riding this season probably aint gonna happen. Tuff. Its fun doing it?????????????? 'e sez blithely tongue in cheek!!
