Title: A10 rear brake levers-difference 42-6353, 42-6317
Post by: Wakeman on 05 Apr, 2022, 20:35
Does anyone know the difference between 42-6317 (1958-1959 A10, lever points up) and 42-6353 (1960-1963 A10 lever points down)? Dimensions OAL, center to center or orientation of the square cutout. I've looked on EBAY extensively, Feked and Draganfly but have not found suitable answer.
Thank you

It is to do with a slight improvement with the brake. The arm facing up moves the trailing shoe first. By putting the arm facing down it moves the leading shoe first so giving a better brake. You need a different brake plate to use a down facing arm.
