Title: A10 Centre stand
Post by: OLDBEEZAGEEZER on 31 Mar, 2022, 14:39
The foot on my centre stand on my 1959 S/A A10  snapped off while in the engine builders and he got a replacement from Kidderminster motorcycle spares. Trouble is the stand bounces around and grounds when I corner. It seems to me that the spring is too long or, the fixing hook on the stand is too close to the stand centre pin. I have taken the stand off for now and using the side stand.

The spring supplied is about 5 1/4 - 5 1/2". They haven't replied to two e mails so before I call them does anyone know what length the spring should be?
