Can anybody please identify this modification on a 1960 A10 timing cover?
That is one of two places to fit a rev counter on an A10/Rocket. The other place is off the oil pump at front of cover. The rev counters are different according where they are fitted. My Super Rocket of years ago had the rev counter driven off the oil pump. Some of the members in my branch have them driven as in your photo.

Thanks idie, I should have realised that! The bike is an A10 Rocket Gold Star replica with rev counter :)
