Title: M20, M21
Post by: maddogmargetts@yahoo.co.u on 28 Dec, 2021, 16:39
I wonder if anyone else has a fascination with setting the tick over on a warmed M20/21, maybe retard a bit and then see how low revs they can get
the tickover? Is this just me just interested or has anyone else tried this?

you can get it slow enough to count easily. Do it next to a Harley rider if you like annoying people  ;D

I wouldnt do it for too long though as the oil pump is driven from the crank.

Yes!

It's one of the main joys when turning up somewhere that there are a few folk around and leaving it for a minute or two before decompressing and then hearing that lovely  chuff fade away! If that doesn't hook at least one person in for a natter then they have no soul!

Cheers,
Bernie
