Title: 1932 500cc Sloper gearing
Post by: oilman on 03 Dec, 2021, 22:44
Just wondering if anyone can tell me the correct sprockets for a 1932 sloper (4 speed gearbox).  It currently has 18/48/19/42 sprockets and I feel it is too low.  Trying to find out was the original solo gearing was so I can see what engine sprocket it should have.  Only one I could find was 1929 and not sure if the 3 speed was different.

As a reference my S30-13 (500cc OHV) with a 3 speed Gearbox has the following:
Engine sprocket 21t
Clutch wheel 48t
Gearbox sprocket 19t
Rear wheel chain wheel 42t
