Title: Tracing the origins of my Victor Special

I've had my recently finished bike dated by the Club's excellent Librarian.  It left Armoury Road on the 29th Nov 68 for BSA Inc, Nutley, New Jersey, USA.  I would be interested to know where the pike progressed after that.  Does anyone know if BSA Inc records exist so I could find out where in the USA the bike went to?   According to my NOVA document the bike returned to the UK in 2018, which was a couple of years before I acquired it.

Thanks.

Hi
Sorry for delayed reply. Your bike was despatched from BSA a week after mine (engine/ frame no PC 8050) which went to BSA West.
I have a copy of the despatch record for bikes 8035 to 8075 which shows that all of these bikes except 2 went to BSA West.
When I bought my bike 4 years ago it had a sticker on it showing it had been taxed in Culpeper Virginia. Whether your bike went to this area who knows but I suppose it is possible.
