Title: BSA 250cc scooter
Post by: TTJOHN on 01 Oct, 2021, 10:15
Hello.
I am trying to find out more info on the scooters produced by BSA with the Sunbeam, Triumph Tigress, badges, I do have a parts book, which is very good except, it does not give any measurements, size of screws, lengths, threads, or any of the information that I am looking for, my question is : is there anywhere that I might get such information? surely BSA must have published something on these machines.

Regards TTJohn

Hello Bruce

Thanks for the reply into my enquiry. There is not much in the way of literature about the scooters, when I bought this one in boxes, I do have some service sheets also a an instruction book and spares list, however they never explain how too assemble the machine, I already got a couple of things wrong, one was assembling the engine on the bench, only to have to remove the side support arm to get the engine back into the frame after.
I'm now in a situation of when do I fit the floor foot pads on, after the leg shield or before? as I say it's all a guessing game at present.
