Title: engine oil in primary case golden flash plunger
Post by: huntingdon on 23 Sep, 2021, 14:24
Before I start stripping everything apart ;D
My A10 plunger has been stood for about 6 months and has leaked about 1/4 pint of oil on the floor (it has always wet sumped). I have taken off the primary cover and engine oil had filled to about 1/4 height of clutch cover so about 1 pint.  I normally start it about twice a month but due to other projects left her alone.
It ran fine on last ride out, about 40 miles so if a seal had gone id be amazed it lasted that long.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Early plunger A10s never had a crank seal.
