Title: A65 primary chaincase bolt positions
Post by: yellowtrumpet on 04 Sep, 2021, 08:49
Hi does anyone have a table or diagram handy with bolt lengths v hole position for 67 a65 primary chaincase cover.
I made a cardboard template and carefully placed the bolts in corresponding holes .. unfortunately this got "moved" shall we say and now they are everywhere.
Cheers Steve

Sorry I can't tell you exactly which bolt goes where. If you have left the washers on the level and drain screw these will be identified.
Offer the case up and go around with a small screwdriver in each hole to identify where the shorter bolts go. You can also feel where the threads are so that can help you identify positions.
Ps I also suffered "movement" of my bolts in the past after sticking them through a piece of cardboard!
