Title: Painter recommendations - Flamboyant Red
Post by: DJC on 03 Sep, 2021, 11:08
Hi - I have a question I'm surprised hasn't been asked before (or if it has I couldn't find it on the forum). I want to get my '66 Lightning petrol tank and fibreglass side panels painted in flamboyant red. I would normally have this done by Mick Stych of Calibre Customs but he is ill at the moment (done excellent work for me in the past).
Does anyone have personal experience of someone who knows what they are doing and can get the correct profile of the red around the chrome parts, and get the colour right? Someone within 100 miles of North Cheshire so I can deliver / collect.
Many thanks.
Derek

Thanks for the link to classic handlining. Ive given them a call and while they only do lining (not complete paint jobs) I'm awaiting a call back as there may be a solution. Watch this space.
