Title: A65 Oil Filter
Post by: Mike Farmer on 15 Jul, 2021, 09:57
 :) :) :)

I've just fitted an oil filter to A65 'in progress'.
I used the drawing for the Bracket that 'Bess' published in the Star about 2 years ago. I think its the forth that I have fitted without any problems.

With lck there will be a pic here as well

i mounted the oil filter in the norton commando position under the swing arm and it vibrated and fell off on a spitfire i owned .luckily i heard the clang as it  hit the road but always mount them where i can keep an eye on the bracket condition on my a10. i always rubber mount them as best i can as well. food for thought.

I mounted mine in the tool box so I should be able to find it if it falls off.
I should have done the same with the expensive rear view mirror that did fall off ;)

hi bess, that spitfire  snapped everything. plunger frame, forward footrests and t bars all went within 1.000 miles of ownership. above 70mph it was as smooth as a greeny wind and solar power salesman.
