Members may remember my problem with a Victor rear wheel locking up when I tightened the spindle. Many thanks for all the helpful suggestions. Finally cured it today. I had a pile of bits zinc plated including a number of rear wheel adjusters so chose the shiniest ones to fit the bike. My mistake was assuming they were all the same. In fact I had fitted a pair which were much thinner so causing a pre load on the bearings. Once the fatter (original) ones went in all was sorted. Every day is a school day - Doh!
