Title: Inner tubes
Post by: MJM_58SR on 26 Jun, 2021, 11:12
Hello all
I've got TT100's on the A10 and I wondered what the optimum inner tube sizes are please?
Front 3.25x19 Rear 4.10x19
Also best brand?
Thanks

Hi,

The innertubes come in those sizes.  The box usually has the size in imperial and metric.  Buy good ones like Michelin as they are far less likely to suddenly deflate.  Cheap ones are prone to splitting when punctured possibly causing instant deflation. Fit new rim tapes as well.

Dave.

Cheap tubes are prone to splitting all on their own.

Michelin tubes , prone to leaking when they pick up nails, scres or thorns.... just saying.
dont forget ,a new rim tape is cheap  enough

Thanks all
Just rechecked the front and it's a 3.60x19.
I'll look for decent quality.

I have used Michelin inner tubes, type 19MF for my A10.  Wheelhouse tyres or Vintage tyres usually have plenty of stock. Cost approximately £14 each.
