Title: 1958 A10 Handlebar lever layout
Post by: MJM_58SR on 11 May, 2021, 19:28
Hi all
I wondered if anyone could tell me how the handlebar levers were set out on a 1958 super rocket please.
I have an old photo of my bike as original and for the left side I can make out the clutch lever without ball end, a longer mag/choke lever with a ball end and I think the horn on the back of the lever. The engine cut out looks to be on the left hand side halfway down the bars.
For the right side I can't make out the brake set up and wondered if this was a combined lever and choke? In the photo the choke has a ball end and the arm has quite a steep angle.
I'd like to get it somewhere near if I can.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi
Thanks, I'm not sure if that's original or not but I have seen that before, nice looking bike.
This is the photo of the bike when it was original, I can't see the left side clearly and the original photo isn't that clear either.

Attached layout from 1958 User manual. Only refers to Road Rocket not Super Rocket so there might be some differences
