Does anyone know if a 5 wire Wipac alternator was ever fitted to a D14 or any other Bantam. My D14 has a three wire stator which I understand is standard. The real question is this, can I use the rotor from a 5 wire alternator with my 3 wire stator. I suspect that I can but there may be some obscure reason why I can't.
