Title: Engine oil seals
Post by: keating on 24 Feb, 2021, 22:15
What is the difference between trials engine oil seals and standard if any.  The question is can I use trials oil seals when rebuilding my D14 Bantam engine without any problems?

The trials seals that Rex sells are viton seals which are reputedly better. I have been using them in my D14 and they are absolutely fine. They are, however, a little bit more expensive but worth it in my view. I also use them in the crank cases on my D7 and that has done a fair few miles more than the D14 with, again, no problems. I hope this helps and good luck with the rebuild. Roland.
