Title: Gold Star engine rebuild advice
Post by: staffs on 20 Feb, 2021, 16:30
Hi Just about to start my long awaited 350 GS engine rebuild and was wondering if there are any mods I should do to the crank or crankcases before I glue it together. I have googled all sorts and no information comes up, does that mean that its ok to build them as they left the factory. It is a 1957 engine in a street trials guise. It is for old man style riding as the owner and engine are the same age. Which cams would be recommended? I am hoping to have a reasonably punchy engine at legal road speeds. Any advice or suggestions will be gratefully received. Thanks Staffs
