Hi all
Just canvassing a bit of opinion and knowledge with TLS for an A10
I'm getting ready to strip the front wheel for rebuild and wanted to get an understanding of offsets.
It's currently measuring between 5 and 6mm (measures over brake drum side face - drum proud)
The peg and slot fitted quite well into each other so I'm guessing it's not far off but wanted to see if anyone can give any info on what they've found.
The rear is full width cast iron.
I will line up the front and rear before fitting tyres.
Thanks all
Hi,
The records I have:
The A10 wheel 67-5605, is 1.15/16" C/L rim to edge of brake drum or wheel 67-6001 is 19/32" edge of rim to face of hub centre.
The RR wheel 42-5648 is 1.23/32" C/L rim to face of ball race brake side, the remaining wheels are central to drum.
I changed to a TLS on the A10 and didn't have a definitive offset measurement, so I loosely laced the rim concentrically central to the drum and set the offset between the forks (if my memory serves me right it didn't need too much alteration).
Best wishes...

Hi,
I think that the hub position is fixed as there are the grooves in the spindle that locate the wheel when the bolts are put in.
Dave.
Thanks both
I've taken the measurements (4.5mm and 5 mm so think it wasn't fully trued but half mm isn't much) I've dismantled it now so will get the hubs sorted and then put them back together and line them up to make sure they're straight and all looks good before putting the tyres on.
Will let you know how I get on
Martyn
