Title: Rear sprocket bearings
Post by: Jhg1958 on 09 Jan, 2021, 13:55
I had my wheel off my 1961 Gold Flash this weekend. I noticed a fair but of play in the sprocket on the bearings. This does not translate into any play in the rear wheel.  Should I be rushing out for a new bearing?

I find that on my Shooting Star and B33. I think as there is only one bearing in the sprocket that there appears to be so much play. I find that with two in the rear hub you get no problems with the drive.  I have had no problems with my recent MOT.
