I'm new to the forum. I have recently acquired a 1971 A65L with dove grey frame for restoration and was wondering if anyone could advise on the paint code for the hubs (or the best nearest thing).
Any help or links to previous posts much appreciated.

I used Silver wheel paint for Alloy wheels for cars and I thought it looked great. It comes in aerosol form and is easy to apply on a bare hub rotating as you go i.e. put it on a sheet covered workmate and walk around in circles. Seal it with a proprietary clear lacquer and the jobs a good-un.

I didn't know if there was a paint number that BSA used, rather than trying to match the original colour with an off the shelf paint. I've managed to track down the tank and frame paint colours from RS paint.
If there isn't a standard match I'll try my hand at using a wheel paint as you suggest.
