I wonder if someone may be able to identify a mudguard I have which I think is a BSA

Sorry Tony, I can't help at all I'm afraid.
It might be worth taking a few more photos to give a better all-round view.
Obviously an old bike with the flared rear of the (front, I'd guess) mudguard and the bolt for the bike stand to engage to when being ridden.....
Other than that I can't suggest owt....

if you took a photo side on and put some dimensions it could be checked against a catalogue
very early bsa V twins had this type of mudguard 1924 ish type early .
