Here is the question can my Wipac stator and rotor be replaced by Lucas RM6 volt items? I have been informed that the stator will fit if I make up spacers as the Wipac studs are 1/4inch BSF and the Lucas has 5/16 inch locating holes. My Wipac rotor is the later 74 mm diameter unit which is the same diameter as the Lucas RM19 unit but I do not know if the Lucas rotor will fit on the shaft of my D14. has anyone on the forum fitted the Lucas rotor and stator, if so I would welcome any advice.

Hi. When I bought my D14/4 it was already fitted with a Lucas alternator so it is possible & not unknown. Hopefully someone who has fitted one will help you.
