Title: Oil pipe routing
Post by: AdrianS on 07 Dec, 2020, 19:00
Can anyone let me know the correct routing of the oil pipes from the oil tank for my A50?
Do the pipes go above or below the cross tubing below the oil tank?
Cheers
Adrian

Hi,

Photo of mine with tubes behind the cross member and in front of the swinging arm.

Cheers Dave. That's where I thought they should go.

Hi,

No problem.  Do not forget to cross them over.  You can just see this in the photo.

Cheers Dave - well aware of the pipe crossing! Heard too many stories of wrecked engines by not crossing them over!
At the moment waiting for my crank to be returned and the crank cases after having a new timing side bush fitted and reamed. Investigating my engine noises has ended up as a total rebuild of the engine !
At the moment just cleaning up the rest of the bike - not much of it left in one piece!
