Title: Oil pipe dimentions
Post by: royblackburn1@btinternet. on 03 Dec, 2020, 13:28
Hi all, now winter is on its way I am thinking of putting a 3 branch oil union (I think that's what its called under the engine up to the oil tank and rockers on a A65L ) I have noticed that all 3 pipes are different diameters can anyone tell me what hoses I need and also the pipes on the union seem to be close together is that normal, thanks Roy

It's 3/8" for the feed, 5/16" for the return and 3/16" for the return to the rockers.
I'm giving you this one but you really aught to get a parts manual and do some googling.
Without  a photo of your union its hard to say if it is normal.

I wouldn't have thought the modification would be in a 1966 parts manual

Hi Roy,

The first one I have with it in is 1968 and the part number is 68-942.

Dave.

Good point.  Many download sources for parts manuals like this one:
