Anyone know if you can still get dayglo headlight covers if so where they use to be pretty common. Roy

I should think autojumbles are probably the best bet , every once in a while you'll see something like that  new old stock.
Did you see the old documentary about bike visiblity recently.It was probably on "talking pictures" which on freeview.
They showed bikes with those covers on and painted a whole bike orange for comparison tests, all way before the think bike campaign.
A short film but worth watching if you can catch it.

I saw one today on a Honda 400-4; it even said 'Honda' on the cover. It didn't seem very new, but if you go to Screwfix they sell dayglo trousers for about £11 and you could use the material to make a couple of covers. They even come with an elastic waist, which you'll probably need to hold the cover on to your headlight. The Screwfix trousers don't seem to have any retroreflective stripes, so there's more fabric to choose from than on some others. Search for 'Hivis'.
