A10 carb spacer

Hi everyone, i am a new member and could do with some information. i have just bought a 1960 Golden Flash which is in very good condition but the carb is badly worn. I will order a new 389 monobloc tomorrow but can anyone tell me if there should be a Phenolic spacer between the manifold and the carb on this model. If i need one i can order it with the carb. Any advice would be appreciated.

I get my Amal parts and advice from Hitchcock Motorcycles, they have a good website.

Thanks for the advice, i have ordered one this morning from Hitchcocks. I have owned Royal Enfields in the past and always had exceptional service from Hitchcocks, and they are a lot cheaper than Burlen.
