I was just wondering if any of you knowledgeable chaps knew the correct code and shade of red for a '62 B40.. Just want to tidy the old beast up a touch...   Griff

It may not be exactly right but I used Post Office red. It seems to be the right shade of orangey red.

Rupert Ratio manual say 62 B40 Star is 'Royal Red' BSA paint code 27.  Then on pg 257 for paint code 27 it says 'Royal Red ( Post Office)'

What that is in  RAL code is have no idea. But at least you can use a post box as a guide !

Thanks Hoogerbooger.. Looked at our local post boxes and it would be nice to be able to get the nice blend of moss growing on them.. I'll try the PO red and see...   Griff
