correct length of A65 plastic sleeve

What is the correct length of 97-3672 fork inner sleeve (damper plastic sleeve) for a '70 A65? I've ordered new ones and they come in at around 50mm whereas (one of) the originals is 39mm.

Hi Davo, Ive just measured the old originals from my 1970 Royal Star and they are 39mm.
They also have a reduced internal diameter for about 10mm length from one end. Remember to replace them the right way up.

Hi. 39mm overall length. The smaller diameter is the lowermost when fitted if my memory serves me correctly.
