1954 B33 Fork Nut Thread
« on: 28 April, 2020, 14:06:00 »
Dear All,
I am in the process of rebuilding my forks and have a small supplier issue..   Could anyone confirm the correct thread pitch for the top fork nuts for the swinging arm "B" series please?. Mine has  1 1/16" 20 TPI thread..   I don't think they are incorrect , could someone please confirm?

Ta,

Adrian

Just a thought...
Would I be right in assuming that the top nuts for the "C" series were smaller (1") and the later bikes (1968 on) were larger?
Just curious...

Thanks,

The C15s and Bantams with lightweight forks had different threads.

From 1969 the A and B series got unified threads, the fork top nuts being 1 1/16 inch x 28 tpi.
