C15 Star Trials
« on: 15 July, 2018, 20:58:36 »
After a long wait I finally found a genuine factory C15 trials.
This is a 1963 C15 Star Trials, with the original frame and engine number.
Starts very easily (low compression), rides really well, just a little slow with the trials gearing.!
Its had a few mods from new, but has competed in many major events, like the Scottish six day.
I won't be restoring the bike, just leave as it is with all the character.
I do have the original forks, but these Ceriani were added when competing, apparently they perform better.?

Very nice and great to see it wearing its competition scars.
Loads of them changed the forks to Ceriani so you could say they are as 'correct' as the factory forks.
Yesterday I spent a very enjoyable afternoon watching several of these bikes undertaking the Scarlett point section at the Manx International Trial.
