Czech Rally
« on: 22 December, 2019, 17:05:50 »
Hello all you International explorers,

Is anyone a bit excited about going to Czechia?  The issue of cost cannot be used as a reason not to go, cheap rally and relatively cheap country to visit.  Distance may put some off but the last Italian Inter. was further.
A different culture a different language, new roads. What is not to get excited about?
I must get some new maps.

Dave.

Hi Dean,

What (non-personal) admin specifically?
I do not think that leaving the EU will cause any problems until after next year and even then I believe it will be minimal.

The admin I refer to means checking all these things. It might turn out there is little change but we won't know until we have checked with all the appropriate companies and UK and European authorities.
Last time I asked my motor insurers all they could do is shrug and say at this time we don't know either.

Also booked - taking the B40 on the back of our motorhome. My son lives in Prague, right next to the old fort which is the destination for one of the day-trips so may be able to help with local information if needed (although he's given up trying to learn the language!).

Cheers,

Sorry, also meant to say that from what I have read on gov.uk nothing will change until next year as during the transition period everything remains the same.  I signed up for e-mail updates and nothing has come through yet.
