clutch push rod adjustment with chaincase on ?

Is there a special tool or a reliable bodged up tool to tighten the lock-nut whilst holding the push rod adjuster in place with a screwdriver?

I use a box spanner with screwdriver through. Use rod in one hole of spanner or C spanner on the other end (assuming double ended box spanner)

make one that works for you,

on a secondary note, i cut an old small plastic tablet tub in half, then i poke that into hole as a catcher, in case i loose that nut (yes i have)

Good idea!

....cos otherwise you have to take off the chaincase coner

...which means removing the brake pedal

....and then the footpeg

...and forgetting that the nut is a LH thread and stripping it (maybe I have  :o )
