I need someone who can make a valve guide - any ideas?
« on: 27 July, 2019, 14:23:41 »
I have a separate post about the catastrophe that befell my R35-4 where I dropped the head off an exhaust valve.

With help from people on her and other BSA gents, I've almost got everything I need - except a replacement exhaust valve guide - and I've exhausted all conventional sources of that part so it's time to find someone that can make one.

I have the part number, an illustration and a schematic with sizes - does anyone know anyone that could make a guide for me?

Thanks for the helpful suggestions. As it turned out, help was not far from home, near Oban and a knowledgeable (but non- BSA) engineer.
