1932 model L-3 carburettor
« on: 23 April, 2019, 14:38:44 »
Does anyone know what model of carburettor was fitted to the 1932 model L-3? This is the 350 OHV engine in the lightweight cycle parts only produced for '32.

I'm guessing that it was orinigally a type 76, but I really want to know what model 276 carburettor will do the job.

Thanks Bevan, that is helpful if somewhat confusing since I've not heard of that model carb - back to the research!

The type 4 5 and 6 were bronze bodied.

Body material changed to mazac about 1932 and the carbs became the type 74, 75 and 76.

Information from interesting paper attached.
