I got my new V5 and new reg number a couple weeks ago and also DVLA taxed it (free) for a year, great service.
I've just completed a nearly successful 10 mile ride without any dramas on an Amal concentric premier with the odd splutter but nothing much. It was hard going to keep it running last week on a new monobloc, the thing was spluttering and stalling all over the place. Last week I said sod it it's being sold but now I'll keep it a bit longer now that its nearly running perfect.
I was told there's a chap somewhere in Fold near Tutbury Castle who is a master at tuning these single cylinder machines i.e. sorting out the correct jets in the carb to stop the spluttering and stalling when you open the throttle a bit too quick?
