« on: 23 March, 2019, 19:44:41 »
Hi all,

I fitted the battery , oil tank & housing this week & wanted to fit an air filter as can be seen in the photo attached there is a misalignment between the carb & the air filter connectionhas anyone else come across this or can send me photos of their  connection between carb & air filter I have adjusted the battery box as much as I can.

Thanks Best Regards Mark.

Looks about right to me!
I have had several C15 and B40 bikes over the years and they all seem to align like that.
On my current B40 I chopped up a bit of a fork gaiter to use as a connector. I found one with a similar internal diameter at one end to the flange on the monobloc and compressed the gaiter to press against the hole in the tin ware. Not ideal but better than anything else I have found.

Thanks Adrian,

A good idea with the gaiter & at least I know its correct and can sort it now.

Cheers best regards Mark :)
