B50MX Kill Switch

I have a 1972 B50MX with the original ignition system i.e. no battery. Can any one offer any advice or share experiences on fitting a kill switch - where is best to break into the wiring? Any comments appreciated. Thank you.

Sorry I cannot give you an answer for this particular bike, but most engines such as a lawnmower without a battery rely on shorting out the plug lead to earth to stop the engine running, or breaking the feed to a coil would stop the engine.

With a battery less points system short the wire leading to the points to the engine
With a battery powered points system interrupt the wire between the battery and the coil
