« on: 16 October, 2018, 10:59:08 »
Hi all
I am wondering if shop manuals exist for the pre war bikes, if yes where are they available.
Thanks all
Hans

Hans,

There are pre war service sheets and manuals like Pitman's Book of the BSA and D.W. Munro BSA motorcycles. Furthermore there is a manual by Motorcycling or reprint by BMS called BSA Motorcycles 1935-1940. These can all be found on Ebay. Please note that the Pitman's Book of the BSA comes in many editions. The most common one stretches from 1936into the late 1940's early 1950's. Earlier editions are more limited in scope of models (1st up to and including 9th edition).

Kind regards,
Leon
BSA 1930s nut.

Trying to collect all 1936 models. Still missing the B3.

Hallo Leon

Super, thanks a lot for the hint we will check the lead provided.
We are in the lengthy process of restoring  the engine for a BSA 1927 twin model, I Think the single engines of the year 1920 - 30 may have the similar or the same information so we can derive from.

Best regards
Hans
