Good afternoon from the US..1969 rocket 3 BSA in shop
« on: 08 October, 2018, 01:34:25 »
Hi everyone..We have a small bike atv shop in Baton Rouge Louisiana.
We do some light restoration work, but have a reputation for high quality electrical restoration on older bikes.....yikes!

We've done a bundle of older Japanese stuff, but our reputation has gotten the best of us and we got this dropped off this morning..Heres the story..

owners dad bought the bike new in 1970 rode it for a few years then after a work accident, drained the fuel and stored the bike since the 1980's, then lost the key

the front frame sticker says january 1969 and the bike has about 9,000 miles on it.
The owner bypassed the ignition, fueled the bike and it started.
owner wants us to make a new key, check the bike out and get it moving....Here  are a few pics..Just wanted to let you know that I may be coming back to you as this is my first Positive ground Brit bike...yowza..
