I am restoring a BSA Sloper 1930 and I am searching for the colour code for the green colour on the tank and also for the golden stripes. I would be happy if someone could help me with this issue.

Hi Hans,
Can't help with the code, but a Google search found this website:http://www.classic-motorcycles.co.uk/bike_paint.shtml.  A screenshot is atached.

No problems. I will need to repaint the tank on my S29 in due course.
Always interested to see photos of other Slopers if you have any. Also, I'd be interested to know what gearing yours is running - engine sprocket & rear sprocket teeth. Mine seems to be extremely low geared.

1929 was dark Brunswick green so I'd assume the 1930 green was the same. However, knowing the vagaries of BSA annual model changes its always possible they changed it!

The code is BS381 227. Any paint shop should be able to make that colour.

Hans,

Any gold leaf paint will do.

Kind regards,
