How do I go about getting an Independent Valuation for my insurance company ?

I have found a local dealership that will do it.  ;D

I'd suggest collecting ebay listings, especially completed, i.e. sold bikes, with dates & condition, then collect adverts from wherever you can. This will help to guide whoever does it for you, a classic aware bike shop is a good idea.
Peter James's insurers accept valuations up to £5k with photos of both sides of the bike.

I paid more than that just for the sidecar.
