Oil Pipe Sizes
« on: 19 February, 2017, 23:02:34 »
Hi,

Can someone enlighten me as to the correct ID of the rubber oil pipes (feed and return oil tank to engine and rocker feed pipe) on a 68 Victor. Also the best place to order the pipes from as well.

Thanks in advance.

You need 5/16 ID herringbone oil piping. Burton Bike Bits do lengths of it but you can buy 1m or longer lengths fairly easily:

Or even Halfords. I asked for 5/16" oil pipe. Sorry, we only do metric he said. OK, how about 8mm oil pipe says I. And so the assistant produced it - and it has marked all along its length it 5/16" oil pipe.
